The best character is Zell. If it weren’t for him, FFVIII would have been so boring. It’s nice to have someone with energy to lighten up the mood. And should I talk about his cool and reliable limits?

The worst is… nobody. They’re all okay. If I must pick I’d say Ward since he really doesn’t do anything. He’s not a bad guy, though.

Best: Irvine I gotta have a gun user
Worst: Quistis I know she was good in the beginning, but she started to lose her place later in the game.

there is no bad characthers in FF8.. They all are ok:)

I think the best are Squall and Seifer and the worst are Selphie and Zell, they both get on my nerves but at times they can be slightly funny.

best: zell, because he livins up the game

to many things are wrong with kiros way to many things to explain.

Yeah, well tell us some. Kiros is pretty kewl, with his blades that slice upwards. His limit break looks awesome too.

The best characters for me were Zell and Selphie. They brought humor and light heartedness into the game

Worst – Seifer cos you only get to control him for a short while, he rocks but then he goes bad… if he’d have been controlable throughout the game he would have been 3rd best, honest.

Best character = Seifer. I’ve said how I started to care about Squall towards the end, but I cared about Seifer all the way through, poor misguided youth.

Worst character = Tonberry King. Puh-lease!!! Who’d believe THAT as a GF????

(Okay, being serious, I didn’t like Zell much. But that’s me.)

best is squall! worst is…eden! i mean, it’s prolly the best, or one of the best gfs in the game, but the animation is boring and im still not sure wat eden looks like…

I definitely think that Seifer is the best and that Fujin is the worst. I mean OBVIOUSLY Seifer kicks ass. Fujin is just gay. I mean for crying out loud. "RAGE!" What kinda sentence is that?

i’m not sayin seifer was a bad character, but i wanted him to be on my party the whole way thru…

I barely ever used Irvine…not into the whole cowboy thing.

The best character is Irvine Kinneas of course! Although Irvine is rarely noticed, you will need him at the end of the game when you kill Ultimecia. I know it’s pretty dumb to be in love with a character on a game, but I love Irvine, and no offence to the Squall and Rinoa fans out there, but enough is enough! I’m tired of Squall and Rinoa in the spotlight while the reat of the orphanage gang hangs back in the dark while they get all the fame and glory. Just once I would like to see Irvine (or somebody else besides Squall and Rinoa) get some of the action, too.

Fujin is kinda OK but she is a flat character so you can’t expect much. I think that the best character is Squall because he is realistic and not all sickly-positive like most. Most supporting characters like Selphie are OK as positive people because of their 2-demensionalism.

My selection for the worst character is Socceress Ultmecia. Little is known about her. Both protagonist and antagonist must be properly developed for a good story (i.e. Final Fantasy VII):D
