What Final Fantasy had the best FMVs?

I think FFX did because they had more meaning to the story and alot of love, happiness, and romance.

I think the FMVs in IX and X were the most emotional.

X had some good ones, but there aren’t as many that stand out for me.

VIII, hands down. Cos sucker for romance.

Final Fantasy X if we’re talking graphics… hell, graphics or emotion. The fact that Yuna could cry when whats-her-name in Spirits Within couldn’t amazed me.

FFVIII and FFX definitely. FFX had the best emotional fmvs, tho.

FF8 and FF10 defenitly. the fmvs were just…beautiful!

From a technical standpoint FFX/X-2 are the best.

The opening movie in FFVIII is my all time favorite fmv.

Overall my favorite fmvs to watch are in FFIX, so that gets my vote.

IX, easily. Superior characterisation!

Yeah i think FFX had the best FMV’s, followed closely behind by FFVIII

VIII’s and X’s, because of the emotion and the graphics. I thought all of them were good, but I liked those the best.

FFX. Like everyone else said, good graphics and very emotional.

Well FFX-2 cos of the superior graphics, but then your not asking about that cos it’d be the lamest question…

For me it’s a cross between FFVIII and FFIX I LOVE the FMV of Squall and Rinoa dancing. It does it for me every time (I got the FFVII with the demo of FFVIII in it so i can watch that FMV whenever)

They both have very emotional clips.

I prefer FFVIII because of the action and emotion; FFX seemed more emotion driven.

yup I agree with you guys on FFX having the best FMV’s the graphics… well just plain Superb (spelling). I had to explain to my own momma that they weren’t real… and the emotion… Just 100% BEAUTIFUL. X-2 had decent graphics but kinda stupid ones though.

well i have to say that FFX had the best graphic and most meaningful FMV’s but i think all of them are great!

in FFX the graphics were most real, we know they’re not because there are things that do make it look ‘un-real’ but sooner or later, Square Enix (Square) are going to crack it, and we will not beable to tell! i’m looking forward to that day! ^_^

Final Fantasy IX for me, the characters were so vivid and I liked the emotion shown in most of the FMVs the most, that and FFVIII Opening FMV and the Ending FMV and the Bike FMV in FFVII were really cool.
