Where to send files to share?

Greetings,

You may have noticed I’m new here. I’ve been downloading some video game music from the site over the past three days. thank you for the site! I’ve noticed that often many of the files are in need of improvement. Not a complaint, but an observation. Often game soundtracks I want are missing. As I have been working on my own playlists, improvements are being made with file order, tags, and missing tracks, along with better album art (especially where missing) as I go. Also, a good deal of Neo Geo and Turbo Grafx game soundtracks are missing so I’m making my own gamerips. It would be unfortunate to do all of this work and not share it. However, I don’t want to host it myself. I’d rather just pass it along to one person that can update the site as needed.

To demonstrate what I mean, I’ve attempted to upload a copy of the Jazz Jackrabbit 1994 game soundtrack fully improved with the Holiday Hare 94 & 95 tracks. Just drop the folder in to WMP or any iPod and enjoy. However, the site says the zip is too large at 116mb. Note: I tend to like to throw the end of stage and any bonus level in a soundtrack where I would naturally first encounter them in a game, rather than at the end of a soundtrack. I’m happy to share. I just need to know how to do that in the best way.

Well, you can just upload to Mega_co_nz and then post that you won’t be re-upping or anything and then let others download then re-up to new mirrors as needed.

Uploading attachments to site is not really recommended.

Fantastic. Surprisingly I’ve never shared files over the internet before and had thought all file locker type places were shut down. I’m uploading now, and will be posting Jazz Jackrabbit as my first of many in the ‘Video Game Music Download Links" section.

:laugh: Yeah. Uploading as attachment will go against the whole "this site/forum does not host any files" business and really get us into trouble.
