Where is the tomb of the unknown king?

Ok, really stupid question. Where is the tomb of the unknown king? Yes, it’s like northeast (Or was it northwest? Need to check that) of the city. I don’t know what direction is north, and the camera turns freely. I don’t appear to have a compass. I’ve wandered around for a while, and I see those three towers in the desert, but approaching them dosen’t do anything.
Plus, all the walkthroughs I’ve found seem to take it for granted that you can find it.

There is no compass…. Would have thought that was obvious…. North is move toward the upper most limit of the map. Also, you’ve wandered quite a way to Desert Prison. Head back along the train track if you want to avoid battles.

I actually had a lot of trouble finding this my first time through. The whole "1 tiny figure traipsing aimlessly all over the world map" is a bit overwhelming at times.
