where Can i get FFXI for PC version

Hi can anyone pls tell me that where can u get FFXI for PC version, I don’t really mind if is just online testing stage right now. But i really want to try it out, so do i register somewhere and download the game, or I need to buy it?? And can u guys alway tell me is it english version or what?? i got no idea of what FFXI is like expect is online. I am an online rpg freak haha^^

You can’t play the game yet. You have to wait till it comes out for America. Only Japanese people can beta test for the game. Sorry, you’ll just have to wait just like the rest of us.

It’s only out recently in Japan and then only for the ps2 yet I believe. and if it’s not out in Japan yet it will soon o_o
and then there’s this little port fact from ps2 to pc which also takes up some time. In short… try again 6 months later 😀

Something that ticks me off is that America get games before us. They get music, films, games, everything before us. And they have a higher crime rate than us as well and critics blame crime on music, games and films! It can’t be hard to translate an American game into an English game. O wait that’s right, you don’t have to translate it cus America stole our damn language. (No offence to Americans (heh heh)).

You can believe that it will be out in Japan before it comes out in US but what is wrong with US and UK? A 12 hour flight, and that’s it. America should not get anything before UK, it is practically the same country. We are on the sme side in the WAR and stuff like that, we don’t need an interpreter between meeting link we do when we meet the freakin’ French! God damn this freakin’ policy!

Well, there are some translations to handle (and I don’t mean only text.) Plus theres the risk of low money to produce it… and all of this other stuff.

I’m guessing Video and encoding all that stuff might be the one taking awhile since US and Japan uses NTSC while Europe uses PAL.

so does that mean you HAVE to buy the ports and the keyboard to play FFXI and you can’t play it on computer if you want to play it at release?
