Answer: An epic perfect version of the Hyrule Field theme. The reason why? It’s because the Hyrule Field music is composed of a giant heap of different 14-second clips that are stitched together as you play the game, ambiently portraying what you’re doing, what time of the day it is, etc. This has always bugged me, because although there are multiple "full" versions of the song around the internet, they always seem to miss a few of the variations, such as the evening or battle variations. They also never seem to transition in the exact way they do in the game.

Today, I decided to change that. I’m not a pro sound editor, so it took me around 6-7 hours, but now I’ve managed to create a perfect version of the song, with ALL variations transitioning properly, including day-night cycle and all. The song ended up nearly 10 minutes long, and it’s a 320 kb Mp3, perfect quality.

So… everyone who’s interested, raise your hands. If there’s no interest I won’t bother uploading it.

The main theme from the first Zelda 64 theme? (oh who am I kidding, their both excellent) Yus, I call! *raises hand*

*raises hand as well* In exchange I can give you the Brawl remix of it. XD

No need for the Brawl remix, I have it and I don’t think it’s very good… unlike the Song of Storms/Ganondorf remix which is AWESOME.

Anyway here’s the link to the song, make sure you tell me if something’s not working:

Everything smooth over here. Though it’s going to be awhile (Lovely connection), and I need to get some rest before I pass out, I’ll post comments later provided you don’t mind em.

Overall I’d have to say great work, the several hours you put into this really payed off. The music went smooth and the flow went very well, quite to the tune I remember hearing.

My only question would have to be did you mean for it to end and repeat at 5:19?

It doesn’t loop. I had to fit in both the normal opening to the song AND the Sun’s Song opening somewhere in the song, so I put in a night/day cycle near the middle of the song as an excuse to use the Sun’s Song. Also, the song after that point doesn’t loop, it’s completely unique from before the Sun’s Song. The song doesn’t loop at any point;)

Oooh okay, guess I should have have waited and listened rather then setting it back because I thought it may have been an accidental mistake, I’d tried sound editing for hours on end and I know how that can happen c.c. Thanks for the response.

Good to hear. I’m glad my work didn’t go to waste. Not that it would have anyway though, cos, you know, I liked the result myself;)

EDIT: By the way, does anyone have a link to a high-quality version of the revised Fire Temple theme? That’s the one without the arabic chanting that appeared in later versions of OoT because of complaints from muslims. All the soundtracks only seem to have the original version…
