What was the Best and Worse Anime ending

I recently just finished watching DeathNote and I thought that the ending was shit, i actually wanted crazy as Light to win. But Being as i’m a girl, i loved the Love Hina ending, it was romantic and sweet

I agree with you. I wanted Light to win so bad, but they made it so the good side won and so that the moral of the show which is what Ryuk said at the start actually happened. ><

crap ending: Gundam Seed Destiny (really, Seed Destiny ruins everything that is already good from the start 🙁 )
Best Ending: I vote for Higurashi no Naku Koroni Kai, not included the very last moment. 🙂

I guess Fullmetal Alchemist, Vampire Knight Guilty and Chrono Crusade win the awards for worst endings ever. Like the creators got lazy and just ended it up by killing all characters and such just because the manga wasn’t finished.

Best ending? I’d say the Higurashi series or well,… uh, Evangelion.

i mean, the series makes you believe light will ultimately pwn everyone, but BAM, he doesnt.

Best ending:
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann First season. It was action packed war on the outside. Simon vs Spiral King inside the base.
Worst ending:
Ranma 1/2. That really sucked. I also agree with catastrophe. I hated how Gantz ended.

For best endings, I’ll go with: GunGrave, Cowboy Bebop, and Planetes.

Worst: Any anime that diverges from the source manga and has to make one up for the anime.

Best-I liked Key the Metal Idol’s ending.
Worst-I didn’t like how the Dangaioh OVA ended.

best is YYH 3rd or 4th ending maybe 009 first one

Best ending is of course code geass R2 and the worst is definitly bleach where everyone just lost an arm but nobody died (besides gin and tousen but hey who cares about them)

I definitely think that Chrono Crusade had to worst ending ever. It was way too rushed and pissed me off. I mean, it was lovely and all that Rosette and Chrono were at peace but come on. No way to end a great series.

As for best, I’m not sure.

i say the ending of Dragon Ball Z and GT was bad both ended with Goku abandoning his family just for a new adventure

Best: "Buso Renkin". Why? Everyone I wanted to live lived, and everyone I thought deserved to die actually died, this never and haven’t since happened again for me since.

Worst:ANY anime that ends prematurely, or keeps the REAL ending inside the MANGA, which I find to be bullshit. You wanna end something? Do it on the big screen if you know what I mean, yes I’m looking at YOU Grappler Baki o.o! (and I also think One Piece should END already, the series has been going in circles over the past few years…)

For endings, I’d say "Planet Busters"

You have this aprox 2 hour movie, great action, great story-line and great characters,
and then the ending totally sucks. I won’t ruin it, but if you watch it, you can skip the last 10 minutes or so, you won’t miss anything.

best endings, well there are too many to mention…

X’s ending was so anti-climatic. It was really disappointing.

I loved Utena and Toward the Terra’s endings.

The worst anime ending is when there’s no cum shot during climax.

And best… well I like how both Ghost in the Shell movies ended, each case was solved with wins and loses, leaving a lot of things to talk about and plenty of room for future explorations. I love GitS universe, and the big screen incarnations directed by Mamoru Oshii are on a similar level as Metal Gear Solid franchise.

I hated the ending of eden of the east, it was a good anime they just put such a massive goddamn cliff hanger

I agree, eden of the east’s ending was just gimmicky. Now Full metal alchemist Brotherhoood, that was a really good ending.
