just imagine:
Cloud get cut into pieces by Sephiroth~
Kuja gets to destroy Terra and Zidane never revive~
Tidus and others loses during the battle with the final summon~
Vaan and others failed to stop Vayne (or Cid)~

I doubt it could happen but if they did, I would probably just think of whoever you get to play as as the good side anyway. Even if what they do seems evil.
