What are those things on Clouds Bike???

What do you think those things on Cloud’s bike are (in the trailer of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children).

Meh. I’m open to whatever, but they could be anything. I think that they could be exhaust pipes, but then again there’s no extra exhaust pipes in this pic ()

i dunno much about bikes but its cool, its just a suped up bike

No, Fenrir isn’t a summon in FFX. But it has been a summon in other FF’s like IX, VI. But you are right with the fact that it is a summon.

what would be the point of carrying around those swords…
does he just sort of pause before the battles…"hrm…the grey one brings out the color of my enemie’s eyes…." i mean, it’s a movie! It’s not like he is checking his stats…"wow and THIS one brings my ATK up to 104!"

lol total bone to the fans if they ARE swords…i would expect a bit more seriousness from square though (well…it is a fantasy…maybe im being critical)

it clearly show thats they are swords, 3 on right, 2 on left, cos he has one in hand and thats why there are two on the left

im guessing the outermost pipes, one on each side are the exhaust pipes possibly.

OK,i download a trailer in dvd quality,4 seconds long which shows Cloud on his bike evading bullits.But,it shows him taking out a sword where those "pipes" are.So in conclusion,there swords not exhaust pipes.ill try and find the site again.but,yes,video footage that they are 6 swords.does that put it to rest???

To clear up the mess, look at Seig Warheit’s pic first. This pic shows the model of the bike and inspect the "thing" extending from the front wheel to the engine. It looks like it is holding the front wheel, but it is not.

Look at <–rYaN–>’s pic and then u’ll realize that there r several "things" extending from the front wheel, which is not in sight. At the tips of these "things", u can see handles on them. My guess is that these "things" can spread out as a fan, becoming a mobile arsenal from which cloud can choose his sword from.

i think it’s damn cool….nice…

I think it came with the bike lol.

What if they symbolize something about Cloud? Ya know, like Squall’s chain on his gunblade. Or, it could have to do with some sort of attack Cloud performs with the motorcycle. Kinda like a "Limit Break".

well…in the trailer, he does fight while on the bike….and i must say he does it as if the bike is part of him…..

i believe that bike does have swords and not exhaust pipes because in one of his fight with the sephiroth look-a-like, his sword is broken in half. then in another scene he still has his sword in perfect condition after the scene with sephiroth. therefore suggesting that the bike does have sword holsters for him.

I still think that it has something to do with a sort of a Limit Break attack. But, it is also possible it is a sort of holster for more than one sword.
