is this ok or what other gear would u suggest?

Not a bad gear selection~ Tarus have the RSE advantage with better shoes and pants with +str on them, keke, but you’re doing okie. You seem to be ok in the wallet there, so sniper’s shouldn’t be too out of the question, right? Accuracy over dexterity, at least for monks.

Typo assumes that by "Avengers" you mean the earrings (http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?fitem=1447). Unless you’re planning on soloing, I don’t recommend stocking up on counter gear, as you won’t get many opportunities in regular parties to actually counter since you’ll hardly be tanking.

The Fuma ish up to you, really. I’m not sure the +haste really benefits mnk so much, as I’ve never noticed any difference in attack interval speed meself. Nin are more likely taru use haste gear to help with their ninjutsu, especially utsusemi~ As a galka though, I can’t think of anything better for you, but I’ll tell you, you’d honestly be better off investing in a life belt and some sniper’s for accuracy than worry about haste gear.

lmao >< the wallet has 100k in it right now i dunno i may have total like 3-4 mill in items

balance rings +1 = 60k each
mythril knuckles = 100k
brown belt = 890k
night cape = 50k
jujitsu gi = 400k
ochiudo’s kote = 1,400,000 >< /cry so costly

i been mining for ores / goldsmithing at level 15 gold if silver ingots sell i may have 200k

i have never even checked there cost cause they have never interested me so u really thing i should use em >< It might sound crazy to sacrifice def, but trust Typo, it’ll make no difference how much def you have as a mnk, you’ll always get dropped like a bad habit if you get too much hate, so def isn’t something a mnk pays attention to. :3

Ja peacock charm would be great, but goodluck ever seeing one of those things no matter how you try to get it. >.>

And about the goldsmithing, well Typo is no crafting guru, but smithing seems like it’d go hand-in-hand with gold. Try mystery tour (http://mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp/ffxi/us/) for some detail~
