could someone email me at [email protected] and tell me how in the hell one can beat the Ultimate Weapons and any hints on jacking up exp points quicker..thanx

What u want is final attack pheonix and kill off two of ur characters so the red weapon puts its claws in the ground then u want knights of the round quadra magic and mime so if neccesary equip hp—-mp.

This trick is very helpful against Ruby Weapon (Red):
Cloning Trick:
1. Equip W-Item (you can find it in the underground tracks the last time you go to Midgar; just keep going ALL the way down or you can dig it up in the excavation mini-game near the Sleeping Forest).
2. Use W-Item in battle. Choose an item then choose the item you want to clone (press Confirm only once then press Delete(if you’re on normal configuration then press O then X; you must have more than one of the item you want to clone for the trick to work).
*It’s best to clone Dazers to minimize the risk of Ruby Weapon attacking and to stock up on Megalixers.*

best weapon is the ultimate weapon for cloud but its har to get :puppydog:

Um FF7kid I think he is talking about how to beat the Weapons not how to get weapons. N-E ways, you definetely need to do what everyone else said and here are some other good combos. Bahamut Zero (or any other strong summon) and either sneak-attack or HP<>MP or HP/MP Absorb. Also I think it would be better to have Final Attack pheonix but that is just me. As for getting exp, go to the northern crater (To the swampy part of it)and use your W-item trick on elixers, then battle until you get into a battle with a magic pot or mover. Feed the Magic pot an elixer for 1000 Ap and 10,000 exp and the movers I think just give you lots of AP.

1.) Emerald Weapon’s Aire Tam Storm does damage dependent on how much materia you’ve got equipped. So to take less damage from this move, equip less materia.

2.) Get the Underwater Materia first. This involves going to Junon and fighting the Ghost Ship bad guy near where you got the sub on Disk 2. Morph it and you’ll receive a bonus item which you hand to the guy at Kalm searching for stuff, and he’ll give you Underwater Materia.

3.) Final Attack Materia, winnable at the Battle Square, paired with Phoenix as close to mastered as possible. This is a god send for when the git hits you with anything that kills everyone.

4.) W-Item materia, attainable from Midgar on disk 2 by running back towards where the Turks ran off to after you fight them. Go RIGHT back and pick it up to do the Item Cheat. (In battle, select W-Item, select one Megalixir, then select another but CANCEL that action. This increases the count by one. Continue this until you have 99 Megalixirs. Cheap, nasty, but effective.)

5.) After defeating Emerald somehow by combining some, all or none of the above four points, go back to Kalm and hand over the item. Receive Master Magic, Master Summon and Master Command materia.

6.) Equip Cloud with above three Materia and W-Summon. Go to fight Ruby. Kill off two characters if you wish. Wait for Ruby to bury its arms, then bring party back to life. Hades will stop Ruby from moving, and then KOTR it to pieces. This should be a piece of piss after beating Emerald.
