wanna; listen to music, watch your anime, look at pix. on your nintendo wii?

well earlier today im gonna keep a simple server up for your wii media needs.
so far the server is working really good. but im not sure if it onlyw orks for my house
i will have
anime and video game music (the music functionality isnt working so well atm)

picture viewing ( i feell this is a waste of time to tell ya the truth)

watch you favorite videos, episodes of your favorite things.

later on i will have downloads to put in your SD card so u can look at videos on your wii

of course i started this today so give me some time to get wha cha want, so for right now, this server does work for comp too but its better to watch on the wii.

so yeah if u have a cartoon or what ever as a request just ask.
ex: hey you have that opening of Gantz? or (instert what ever here)

oh and this might work for Ps3 too.. never tried.

the server with the movies and stuff will only work at my house T_T so dont mind that till fi figure out a way other than Hamachi to give it to yall. but whats second best is.

*EDIT* og this is really good. im gonna post downloads for videos for the Wii. so you can watch your fave episodes right in your photo channel for wii. (shame for file size, i’ll try to make it 4 different sizes.)
so far the only ones i made into the photochannel kind is Excel Saga Opening and Robot chicken episode 10-Badunkadunk (the episode with white michael jackson vs Black Michael Jackson)

I’m currently using Orb (https://mycast.orb.com/orb/html/index.html?lang=en) so that I can listen to music. watch videos and view photos that are from my personal computer to any digital device (including the Wii, PS3 and XBOX 360). :love: It works quite well.

oh kool. oh and yeah i decided to change my mind about this because the file type it takes for nintendo wii videos to play amkes the file size way too large (ex: 50 mb 24min episoded RM format turns into 500 – 600 mb) so yeah unless i find an alternative way (other than using wii media center x dont get me wrong, it downloads fast and plays perfect but i dont like wireles wifi on the nintendo its so buggy) to see my videos im not gonna pay too much attention to this thread.but yeah. im still putting the episodes into .flv format in high quality they come at about 70 – 100 mb then i just watch them from a place like youtube or something almost similar.

in short…. is orb good? lol im thinking of trying it.

Orb is really good. I personally use it mostly for listening to music when I’m away. One of the major things about it is that I don’t have to convert my videos/music to a specific format, Orb will let you play just about any audio format (Mp3, WMA FLAC, (ect)).

I’ve haven’t really tried it so much for video, last I remember it wasn’t in the best quality and also a little laggy, that could just be my experience though and like I’ve said I haven’t really been using that part of it so much. Try it, see if you like it.
