Walt Disney Legacy Collections

Hi,

After seeing the Mary Poppins set wonderfully uploaded recently labelled as part of the Legacy Collection, I feel like I’ve been in a cave completely unaware of these soundtracks!

Does anyone have the collection? Or at least some of the discs from the collection to start me off?

Ive seen a couple that are still active, but a lot of the links are dead now sadly. Even if people just have individual albums it would be appreciated 🙂
So far I have Toy Story, The Lion King and Mary Poppins that have still been active. Once I have them all I’ll do a proper upload myself in a new thread.

EDIT: Also, thanks for the upload of the Mary Poppins album, at first I didn’t realise you were who had responded haha!

the Disney Music Emporium Facebook posted that there’s going to be an announcement tomorrow along with two samples of Lorelay Bov�’s artwork, so we’ll find out if the collection is continuing or not tomorrow. One of the pieces of artwork consists of three arrows, which if it’s for a Legacy Collection release, strongly suggests that we may finally get a release of Bruns’ Robin Hood.

Definitely looks more Robin Hood than anything else, fingers crossed!

I honestly hope to GOD they’re expanding these releases. :D….

If they do, i’ll be suffering a heart attack for sure.

Also available for the first time will be Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection Robin Hood two-disc set. The Robin Hood Collection features the songs and score from the film on Disc 1, plus previously unreleased demos, and bonus tracks performed by Louis Prima on Disc 2. Also included are extensive liner notes by Disney historian and writer Paula Sigman-Lowery. The CD cover and 20-page booklet feature newly created artwork inspired by Robin Hood from Lorelay Bove, a visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios (Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck-It Ralph). A limited quantity of lithographs featuring the back cover artwork designed by Bove will be a gift with purchase.

So has the complete soundtracks to: Aladdin, Beauty and The Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, The Fox and The Hound, Pete’s Dragon, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Rescuers, and countless others!

I honestly do hope they keep this going for as long as they can! I’d love to see more releases!

In my honest opinion, I want Disney to release every soundtrack that isn’t released….
So, whether it be Song of the South, The Rescuers, Sword in the Stone, etc, I want to see fans(including myself) happy…

My personal wishlist is:
Aladdin, Hunchback, Beauty, Tarzan, The Rescuers, and others… just not in that order
