Fantastic share: both the music and the scans. I can’t quite fathom how you managed to retain your sanity whilst pressing "scan" 551 times but I’m very grateful!

I can’t quite fathom how you managed to retain your sanity whilst pressing "scan" 551 times…I usually had the Ring Cycle playing while I was doing the scanning. After a while, the motions of scanning became automatic and I was able to just focus on the music.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m becoming more of a fan of Levine’s conducting and I’ve been curious to check out this Ring Cycle, also for the promise of glorious digital sound.

Alas, I still greatly prefer the Solti Cycle; still a sonic marvel considering its age. It was fun to compare, though!
