Wasnt that the villain from Ghostbusters 2?
looks up "vigor"
"The American spelling of vigour "
Ah, dammit:
looks up "vigour"
"physical and mental energy and determination"
Does that satisfy your curiousity?

Vigor is one of the factors that goes into how hard your character hits. For instance, Sabin in one of my game hits for about 4000 per hit with his Tiger Fangs, when using the offering. In my other game, he hits for 9,500 with the Tiger fangs and the offering (same equipment, exactly) but I used the Bizmark Esper to raise his vigor as I leveled. He has about 50 more Vigor, and it makes a huge difference.

It also goes into factoring how often your character will do a near death special attack. The higher the better, and more often they will do this..

So it’s basically just strenght-status, so that means your physical attacks, and it increases the amount of ‘near-death-moves’.
Am I right, because if that’s the case, I think it’s a very important status-part….(btw, does it increase the ‘submoves’ like Blitz (Aurabolt etc.)too?…

It increases the damage done by :
Suplex
Pummel
Bum Rush
Suplex
Pummel
Bum Rush
and does NOT increase damage done by:
AuraBolt
Airblade
Fire Dance
the last three are magic based.
and yes, you are correct in that it is your ‘strength’ status, and if it is true (i dont know, honestly) it does increase the chance to do a near death attack. If it does that would be pretty cool, because they are so rare.

It also determines how much damage you can take without dying, too, I think (along with defense)
