It was two years ago today James Horner left this world.

Fortunately like his peers, his legacy lives on and will continue to inspire future generations.

Thank you, James.

I forgot that but i never forget to listen to his music. Last one i checked ( again ) was the spitfire grill. An impressive tender score.

Whenever you bring up Horner, inevitably some smartass is going to talk about what a hack he was and how he ripped off the works of better, classical composers.

Horner undoubtedly made his mark in film music history; for many he was a man who injected great compassion into his music, and others remember him a bit more infamously. Either way, he will for decades more stand as one of the great figures in film score composition.
