"The Tuskegee Airmen" was a historical drama made for TV in 1995 and told the true story of a group of African-American pilots who overcame harassment and prejudice to become some of the finest fighters in WW2. Tuskegee was the name of the Alabama airbase where the men trained. The movie won numerous Emmy awards, including one for Holdridge’s stirring score.
