Tips On FFVI

hey guys! i’m just new into playing ff6 but i know a little something about the story and about the ever evil villain kefka and my status now is that i’m in a palace where terra met edgar. i need some tips about ff6. are there places should i go? any secret bonuses? tips please!

The game is pretty straightforward right now. Just go along playing. It’s a shame you already saved Terra, though. I would have told you to un-equip Mog during the battle to protect her. That way you have his pike for Edgar and his armor for whoever needs it. Un-equipping him isn�t a MUST DO though, so don’t worry. Until you get the airship there really isn’t much to do other than play through he game.

If you’re buying things in that castle, have Edgar as the head of your team, and all of the prices of the items are 50% off. Also, when you get to South Figaro, there’s a small house to the north of it… make sure you go there instead of the Inn in South Figaro (it’s free!).

Oh, and having a pair of Sprint Shoes is nice too.

oh yeah, just right now, i erased all my data from ff6 because after i posted this thread, i thought that i might be missing out something before heading to edgar so i decided to start over.

explore every place that you are in throughly. you can find a lot of useful items that way. also, when you are wandering around as just Terra (when the soldiers are after her), leave the treasure chests and get them later in the game. the items are (supposedly) better

On that note, not just treasure chests have items. Check pots and anything else that might have an item in it. For example, almost all the clocks in Narsh have an Elixir in them.
