Thank you, sadsack. I, unfairly, had rather low expectations for this collection of TV themes. I guess I expected the work to be simplistic/small in scale and the recording to be tinny and crackling. But it’s great… really, really wonderful!

I know what you mean, but I suspect these were re-recorded for the album so they might be enhanced. I especially like track 6 Lavender Waltz – sounds like it came out a modern POIROT episode (or should I say POIROT sounds like it) – pretty and thoughtful with a dark edge.
