the Uncharted thread.

Let’s discuss the awesomeness that is known as Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Clearly, by my avatar and signature, I’ve taken the roll of Nathan Drake. Neg will soon be here taking the roll of Victor Goddamn Sullivan, better known as "Sully". (I have an Elena Fisher avatar/signature ready for any female shriner who wants that roll, pm me.)

Now, currenty, I believe Neg has finished Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, but I’m not sure so let’s try and keep spoilers to a minimum, especially for Uncharted 2, or at least have them tagged as such. I’ve already completed 1 and 2 so I’m good to go.

For now let’s talk about the awesome voice talents of Nolan North (Nathan Drake) and Emily Rose (Elena Fisher). I can’t think of another game where 2 characters have had such great chemistry as these two.

Emily Rose. Wow, she’s hot!

Treasure hunting usually doesn’t result in treasure being found. Instead you get crazy psycho’s who become invincible with a haxxed shotgun but aren’t truly invincible.

I need to replay this… was a lot of fun the 1st time around. My 1st PS3 title too

I bought the first Uncharted back during Christmas, but I haven’t opened it yet. Still trying to get through the other games I bought during that season. I watched my brother play it though and it seems pretty cool, hence why I bought it. 🙂

I got both over Christmas. I’ve finished the first and I’m a little way into the second.

They’re alright.

It’s true that the slim generates less power and thus less heat, but that is the reason it can fit in a smaller case, it has a smaller heat sink and less powerful fans. There is no wasted space in either console and BOTH are capable of handling the heat that they respectively generate.

Okay, let’s look at some plot points:

*Nate tries to give up halfway through
*Monsters are created from the curse surrounding an artifact
*Ships end up in weird places
*There’s a main baddie and an incompetent henchman who Nate has to pick the slack up for.

WHY IS THIS THE SAME DAMN GAME.
