The Truth About FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus

Well, in the beggining when i first saw the game on sale I thought OMG! A NEW FINAL FANTASY! Of course, i was thinking that the game would be another kick ass RPG that would do an huge success… I started to investigate and reading reviews about the game, and it looked crappy but I couldn’t believe it… It was a Final Fantasy after all, and FF isn’t in any kind, CRAPPY! But no… i bought the game, and i got the greatest disappointment in my life, it was a Third Person Shooter, a TPS that sucked even for a TPS, I consider this FF the ”Black Sheep” of all the FF’s, and if they are interested in doing stuff about FFVII due to it’s success, then they should do a remake. Vincent, you one my favorite FF characters… you let me down… So, let’s get to the point, what do YOU think about this Dirge of Cerberus and what do you think of a remake of FFVII?

But I liked DoC, mostly just because regardless of the crappiness, it was something new to play.

In all respect, I didn’t find this game all that bad. I played through each difficulty mode and eventually completed all of the EX Missions. While it was really easy and repetitive, I thought it was an interesting take on the FFVII universe.

chapters 10 and 11 suck (Deepground and Mako Reactor 0)

I don’t care what you think but I have no regrets buying this game on launch or the pre-order I put down on it. One of my favorite games.

You’re telling me…that you didn’t do research on a game before you bought it, let alone that you’d never even heard of it before it came out? No wonder you lose…

Well, from gameplay maybe DoC is worse than the other FF game but it’s take a part in Final Fantasy VII compilation series. From storyline it’s a very good job for square "two tumbs up". but i hope square remake it in RPG platform because i more like to use it. TPS was annoying its like resident evil or other game that i am not too familiar on it.
