The Sword and the Sorcerer – David Whitaker (324mb + artwork Flac)

Hello everyone. Not sure whether this has been shared before, but its a film score thats quite good the overture theme is really nice, the music by David whitaker, which I don’t have much of (it’s alright I’m not asking) although I think the original quality seems a bit pinched, its good to have so I hope you all enjoy it.

I enjoy most fantasy music. It all gets added to one super long playlist. The more the merrier. Thanks for the share man.

yes the recording was rather dry as was the case with many filmscores from the era. i think they thought the reverb of the venue the movie was shown in would make up for it. i fortunately have fantastic reverbs at my disposal and so created a suitably wet verb’d version for my self. makes a huge difference.

I remember the movie. I saw it when it was released. It is a B movie, so I don’t think they spent a lot of money in the recording. But the recording is not bad at all and the music is quite enjoyable as the movie.
These days a big budget movie doesn’t have a decent soundtrack.
