SOPA is coming back under different aliases like Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The petition is currently at 7,000 signatures and that’s not good. For the White House to officially respond, there needs to be 100,000 signatures on the petition.

I know someone just literally posted a SOPA-related thread a few weeks, but this is serious. I lived in a country for most of my life where the simplest of sites and apps like Wikipedia and Skype are blocked (I lived in the Middle East, which is technically the Arab world) because of their religious views and their own agendas.

We’ve only got till April 13 to sign this. Don’t wait till like 72 hours before the deadline to sign the petition.

If the bill goes through, I assume the Shrine will be one of those possibly (or majorly) affected, please sign the new petition and spread the word!

And it won’t be long now before the staff associated with this site are slapped in handcuffs and chucked in the clink.

i see no reason at all to believe that will happen. There have been instances of attention drawn here and nothing whatsoever has ever come of it, and likely never will. The most that will happen it it will get shut down. But even that has not happened, when the opportunity has come up.
