Would it hurt the series to skip Ang and straight to Korra?

I got real bored with ATLA. It’s not something to watch back-to-back.
Maybe once a month.
It’s just way too much.

No, definitely not. I think watching Avatar: The Last Airbender gives you a better understanding of The Legend of Korra.

Also, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra currently air on Nicktoons.
