This is the actual soundtrack from the very underated 1976 western The Last Hard Men.
The original score was actually composed by leonard Rosenman, but was never used. Instead the film was tracked with some of Jerry Goldsmith`s western music, from such films as, rio conchos, 100 rifles and stagecoach.
An album was released by Intrada with leonard Rosenmans score and the jerry goldsmith tracks, but was quite dissapointing in that the goldsmith tracks were not the tracks used in the last hard men, they were just the track used from the relevant films.
They should have released the actual tracks as they appeared in the last hard men, which i think is much more pronounced and more robustly played, especially the main title track from 100 rifles.
Anyway, this is a dvd audio rip and does have some FX and Snippets of dialogue, but the musics is still there and its great, matching, i think, this film perfectly.
