You just made my weekend! I really enjoy the Karate Kid score and I can’t wait to hear your take on it!

This has been sitting in my editing cue for some time now. Though I don’t favour merging tracks myself, perhaps your edition will suffice. So, thanks, I’ll give this a listen.

An attempt to get a response? not at all although if that was my intent I suppose it served it’s purpose.

Not to take anything away from your effort here which is to be applauded I just disliked the movie a great deal.

I see. I asked because there usually isn’t a kind of hesitation for this sort of thing. If someone dislikes a score they dislike it (and we’ll sometimes never hear the end of it). Or sometimes it’s the person involved and being hesitant to thank them for something even if it’s something you’re going to enjoy. I just wasn’t sure if this was a situation like that, is all.

Hey guys, thanks again to JHFan for these custom editions. I’m feeling inspired to work on cover art, especially for Horner scores. So here we go, a new Karate Kid. I never really liked the official album artwork, thought that picture was too boring, and the text a bit too ugly.
So here’s a version using a cooler poster, and reworked the text portions, a font more similar to logo title treatment, but with same basic ideas and colors, etc.
Hopefully you like it. I included two variants, same art, just the text at the bottom is a little different, couldn’t decide which to go with… so options! Let me know if you guys have a favorite. Hope you enjoy these.
