Was not particularly impressed. Most of the score is minimalist with only a few cues with major melodies. Though that is just the style of modern films. Thanks for sharing.

Given from what the film is about, the score is there to bring a sense of calm between the madness that the film show. Kind of like Armstrong’s score for World Trade Center. And you can’t say that it has few melodies, there’s two original themes, and songs that Armstrong includes as recurrent themes.

Side note:
Has anyone else noticed that most of track 13 "Let’s Go to Town" is a blatant knockoff of composer John Adams’ piece The Chairman Dances (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLevr7I5PSg)? While I’m sure it worked great in the film, I don’t seem to see any credit given to Adams. I find this unsettling.

Listen to the piece and you’ll see what I mean.

So I’m curious, how would people describe tracks 11 and 12 if not ambient? Certainly they are very slow, and a lot of the score is quite slow. Would minimalist be more accurate? To me at least those pretty much fit with my idea of ambient, largely unobtrusive music that is very slow and doesn’t put melody at the forefront.

I hope someone will be making a complete/expanded score with the 3 albums and film audio, now when the movie is released!

I second that (hahah), we need a perfect tracklist in chronological order of all albums.
