I don’t know much about FF6(I finnaly got FFX…AWESOME).
maybe you can search with MSN for some FF info sites.

I’m pretty sure that Sabin’s Tiger Fang is in a treasure chest in the cave on the Veldt. Just look for it, shouldn’t be too hard to find. AtmaWeapon kicks ass as a sword, you can find that in one of the treasure chests in the World of Balance. You can also steal one from the AtmaWeapon enemy and I believe also from one of the Goddesses in Kefka’s dungeon (although sometimes you might get something else.) The Ragnarok sword is another good sword, to get that you need to go to Narshe in the World of Ruin and have Locke in their party, then go into one of the buildings (the Inn I believe) and go to the basement. You’ll find the innkeeper giving refuge down there, he’ll give you the option to either get the Ragnarok esper or the sword. Take the sword, the Esper lets you learn Meteor, but that doesn’t matter because you can learn Meteor 10 times faster when you get Crusader. The sword lets you learn Ultima, also, I believe you can take it to the Collisseum and exchange it for an even better sword. If you want more of this stuff, let me know and I’ll give you the site where I found all this stuff.

Alright here’s the lowdown.. maybe a bit late though heh

Anyways, it differs from character to character..

Weapons:

Ragnarok – a sword gotten from ruined Narshe from the innkeeper. Personally though I always take the magicite. Teaches ultima x 1.

Illumina – another sword, this ones from the colloseum for the ragnarok. Much better and rarely casts pearl wind.

Sky Render – Gotten from a boss in kefka’s tower, cyan’s best weapon.

Tiger fangs – from the veldt, as written by that other guy 🙂

Rainbow brush – relm’s best brush, in a treasure in kefka’s tower

Magus rod – from the sunken kingdom under figaro castle, in a treasure chest i think.. Best for strago.

Aura lance – Mog’s best weapon, next to illumina (but since you can only have one of each..)

Graedeus – Best for setzer or shadow, forgot how to get it.

Armor –

Anything with Genji is GOOD. I think you can only have 2 of each (armor, helm, shield).

Next best are Minerva, Thornlet, moogle suit.. All can be gotten from the last tower. or from the colloseum.

Thats pretty much it, have fun.

Actually, the magicite teaches Meteor X 1. If you get the sword, it has a special effecgt that lets you learn Ultima.

No no… Ragnarok teaches ultima and the only esper to teach meteor is Odin.

No, sorry, but you’re wrong. The Esper Crusader that you get if you beat all of the dragons teaches Meteor X 10. I actually was wrong about the Esper though, it does teach you Ultima, but you can get Ultima if you get the sword as well.

"Instead of taking the Ragnarok Esper, take the sword, then trade it for the Illumina at the colloseum. To learn Ultima, equip the Cursed shield and a Ribbon and fight in 255 battles to get the Paladin Shield. With this, you learn Ultima at a rate of x1."

Yeah forgot about crusader, but taking the sword leaves an empty space in your esper collection.. NOBODY WANTS THAT!

Well, I guess if you’re the obsessive type and couldn’t stand that, then yeah, that’s true. But upgrading Odin to Raiden also leaves an "empty space," and actually, so does just keeping Odin. So there’s going to be at least one empty space either way.

but if you’re serious: Dude get some smarts, not only does the Illumina increase just about every skill by 7 and every evade by 50, but it also casts a spell once in a while.. obviously you are on drugs..

Nah i’m not on drugs (well I am, …..cannabis) anyway. Yeah I do have 99 Illumina’s, some thing called a Action Replay cheat cartridge.
I found the game far too easy, so I started to take the piss out of it.

For everyone, I don’t just have 99 Illumina’s I have 99 of every single thing in the game. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Illumina mostly casts Holy, but it might cast something else on an off occasion.

Ragnarok teaches Ultima x 1. I always take the Esper.. ’cause Espers are cool.. :B

Btw; Deftones, you *can’t* have 99 of every single thing. Like, you can’t have 99 Rainbow Brushes, ’cause you can only get it in Kefka’s tower, same with some other things. Unless you have a gameshark, but then you’d be a cheater. And nobody likes cheaters. :B

Yeah I have 99 of EVERYTHING.

And I only do it as a JOKE, so people actually find it funny, i’ve completed it LOADS of times, so I got bored with playing normally.
Also Game Shark is NOT the ultimate cheat cartridge and can do EVERYTHING. 🙂 🙂 🙂 😀
