Is it actually possible to beat the Goers? Ive been tryin for a while now and I wus wonderin if I should just let them win cause Ive got no chance of beating them.

If you took the time to learn Jecht Shot, then you can win. Otherwise, you have a pretty small chance of winning, unless your really, really good at it. XD

Yes it is possible. You get a Strenght Sphere if you win which can gice someone 4 more strenght!

You might want to lose this game because you have hardly any idea how to play. However after you play some more games and get the hang of playing it, you can start all over with the game (on a different file of course) and you can stand a chance against them.

Yes, Jecht Shot is really the only way to win it. However if you don’t have it you need to rely on Tidus’s Sphere Shot or Wakka’s Venom Shot. Basically you need your shooter to be near the goal with one person near you (in the circle). Then pass the ball to him and breakthrough the person and shoot and you might score… Hard, though.

i beat it, but i had to get tidus up to their goal as fast as possible, and use Jecht shot. After first half, i used it again just before wakka comes out. Then u can use wakka’s venom shot if you get close enough. The bad thing is, that time ran out for me just as the ball was headed for the goal. it was funny but i was pissed later. Yes it is possible, but just keep trying.

Of course you can beat them!! I’ve done it before and I haven’t required the Jecht Shot. I just use the Sphere Shot. Don’t forget that you recruit other blitzball players. I don’t have the orginal Besaid Aurochs anymore.

We’re talking about the mandatory championship game…

Well, first time I tried ( first game of Blitzball ever , and I didn’t know how to play ) I lost 2-0 …In my second game , I won 1-0…The Aurochs literally are underpowered fot this game, so it’s hard, but not impossible…However, if you take the time to well develop the original Aurochs later on, they become awesome…Plus you need them for another purpose …( censored for Spoiler’s sake )

I won this game 3-1, and I have to say that it is pretty easy.

All you have to do is get the other team to follow your MF back, then have him throw to Tidus. Get the LD and RD to chase you, then stop right in front of the goal and use Jecht Shot to knock them both out and score. Of course you will want to switch it over to Manual A when you first get the ball.

It’s guaranteed to work and did so for me in my very first game ever. No kidding, it really is hat easy.

I think that it is kinda stupid how they substitute Wakka for Tidus. I mean I know how much it must have meant to them, but I was about to score another goal when it happened. The only goal they scored was when I had Wakka on my team anyways.

Without the Jecht Shot I wouldn’t have won the match.
