Can’t remember when I last heard / saw this film or its score. Looking forward to a re-visit. Thanks for sharing.

This isn’t Elfman’s best work but I can say I do enjoy it even if none of the thematic material or even the techniques will stick with me afterwards. It’s not one you’ll be reaching to hear on repeat or talk about for days but it is interesting to pull out every now and again to hear how everything from Elfman’s career up to that point was capsized and infused into this score. Years before Sleepy Hollow when Elfman would make himself fresh again, there was this and it’s definitely not the freshest material. Some will like it, others will despise it while fewer others will love it. The share is appreciated nonetheless because there is a handful of missing cues that didn’t make the album which are nice to have here.
