The Fifth Weapon???

Right. There was a weapon that got its head blown off……what was it called and where did it go????

You’re not supposed to double post here, anyway the weapon which got its head blown off in Junon didn’t have a name (although some people call it saphire weapon). Basically it got its head blown off and thats the extent of what happened.

..Emerald Weapon?

I thought that THAT weapon was the one who got it’s head blown off. That would make since because when you go use the submarine you see a huge greenish-bluish weapon swimming around.

I thought that that weapon was the one that got blasted.

yeah, there’s spoilers in this, so ummmm…..don’t look or something like that.

okay, here’s the deal:

there were 5 weapons (which we all know). you see them all coming out of the northern crater.

1. ultima-we all know this one, flies around until you layeth the smack down
2. diamond-our pal who gets blasted by the sister ray when he attacks midgar
3. ruby-goes and hides under the desert till you go whip his/her/its ass
4. emerald-swims around the ocean until you go whip some ass
5. sapphire/onyx/various other names-attacks junon, gets head blown off, and dies instantly.

so to answer your question, there’s no official name for it, and it dies after the junon escape.

It deffinatly aint emerald cos that one is green i think. The one that had its head blown up was blue

yes, grand lethal is correct. my friend was at the hawaii sqauresoft building, asked, and it’s sapphire that get’s decapitated. it’s NOT emerald, nor does it have any relation except for both being a WEAPON.

The sapphire weapon was instantly killed(weak, huh?). The diamond and ultimate weapons are pretty much cowards because they run away after you beat them. The ruby and emerald are the tough ones that are almost invincible. Pretty much the only way to beat them is to mimic KOTR or Omnislash.

i dont remember the name of that weapon but if you got your head blown off with a cannon that size i dont think you would come back either. emerald is american version only. that is why he is not in the weapon release movie.

Well GL basically said it all. There is no real name to the weapon, but I always refer to it as the Sapphire weapon.

The WEAPON doesnt not have a different name other than, WEAPON, that is his only name, it is just regular WEPAON, nothing else. The Sister Ray blew it out of oblivion, that is called WEAPON. That is itsa true name.
It even says in the Offical Final Fantasy VII Stragety Guide.

I always call him Saphire.

Emerald and Ruby were released in Japan when FF7 was re-released. The Japs heard about American/European FF7 and wanted the new stuff.

I know that, i am just sayiong that is what he is called, i know people call him different but that is his actual name.

I don’t think this serves any purpose anymore. The question’s been answered, it is the Sapphire WEAPON.
