Well, I came across the awesome soundtrack by Eric Serra for The Fifth Element. But I saw an interesting discussion that pointed out that the initial release had horrible mastering and that the japanese version was the definitive version. Since I read that, I had to get both versions for comparison, and while I was at that, uploaded them untouched so everyone can draw their own conclusions. So, without further ado:

Format: wv (WavPack) + CUE + Log + Scans

Tracklist:

1. Little Light Of Love
2. Mondoshawan
3. Timecrash
4. Korben Dallas
5. Koolen
6. Akta
7. Leeloo
8. Five Millenia Later
9. Plavalaguna
10. Ruby Rap
11. Heat
12. Badaboom
13. Mangalores
14. Lucia Di Lammermoor
15. The Diva Dance
16. Leeloominai
17. A Bomb In The Hotel
18. Mina Hinoo
19. No Cash No Trash
20. Radiowaves
21. Human Nature
22. Pictures Of War
23. Lakta Ligunai
24. Protect Life
25. Little Light Of Love (End Titles Version)
26. Aknot! Wot?

Download HERE (https://mega.co.nz/#!lkhzXBZa!ZijZGQ_fYtfwUupipxrxGcD9obIy_rCVwwbL6k5 0D4g).

Format: FLAC + CUE + Log + Scans

Tracklist: Sames as previous.

Download: HERE (https://mega.co.nz/#!FkYyxY5Y!-1Eqp0TKJcJ6DEuv9lKbshaZ4jxxCfmwA2pYfuMTcmk).

As mentioned, just as I got them I uploaded them, it isn’t my own rip nor can guarantee that is error free. Please, enjoy and feel free to comment your impressions.

UPDATE: Adding the REMASTERED Edition

Thanks a bundle for the share.

But I’m curious: is there any way to split these files up? I don’t often see FLAC rips come in one giant file (although I know they occasionally do, and the cue sheet will allow CD burners to burn them correctly). I use Winamp to listen to these things, and there’s no way to go from track-to-track.

Incidentally, so far I’d say the Japanese version is a lot better than my domestic version, mastering wise. The American master sounds more muddled.

There is Medieval CUE Splitter (Some audiophiles say it is bad because sometimes it doesn’t cut accurately, but that’s the one I use) and CUE Tools. Both let you divide the FLAC or WAV or whatever file using the CUE sheet and preserving the quality of the original file, so nothing happens to it.

Apparently there is an official remaster. I would like to compare it to the japanese release. If you’re willing to upload and share it’ll be appreciated!

Thank you for the hard work and uploads! Nice to see some fans of this film. For me It’s a guilty pleasure. Love the music, Milla J. and Bruce W. Characters in this. Milla plays a strong yet tender warrior who despite superior genes has a fragile heart. Bruce practically plays himself Just Kidding. He plays a mild mannered heart-broken former soldier who is down on his luck, and continues to be pestered by his mother to find a woman. He must be lucky to score a completely hot and available chick like Milla Jovovich. Still, I struggle watching from time to time because of Chris Tucker’s performance…

Hmm, the tracks that should playback gapless don’t seem to mix right to my ears on 24bit remaster (Leeloo->Five Millenia Later, Lucia di Lammermoor->Diva Dance). Am I right or is it just my playback? :/

Thanks a ton for the Japanese upload.

So where does the 2 cd iso complete fit into all of this content wise. These official albums are not complete, right?
