now im talkin about the genesis, and yes i know genesis didnt have many good rpgs, it was more known for sports games and SNES was the rpg console.

but have you people played the old phantasy star series and the shining force series? those were the good rpgs for the genesis.
then phantasy star went online and it sucked, and i dont know what happened to shining force, but do you people remember ever playin these good games?

I remember Shining Force 2 as the game that got me into RPGs in the first place. It was a well rounded game, the characters were realistic, the storyline was brilliant and the battles involved a little bit of thinking and placement of the party. I thought the game was brilliant, although I have yet to play any of the Phantasy Star games.

I’ve played Phantasy Star one and three.. I really like those games.. Even with all the superb graphics games have now, I still like to play those two games =D
I’ve never played PS online, and honestly have no idea what Shining Force is.. 😮
