AIRMAIL from NAGASAKI was a music group from the glorious 80s that had very short life, they released only one single and one mini album, called ‘DOGEN?’ Their biggest hit is the AMAZINGLY AWESOMENGLY AWESOME song Melos no You ni -LONELY WAY-, the OP for Takahashi Ryousuke’s (no, not that Initial D guy) mecha-anime Aoki Ryuusei SPT Layzner… so, after I heard the song I was flabbergasted like no tomorrow, the song is so brilliant, so after using the Almighty Power of Technology, I ripped the DOGEN? mini album and it is the coolest ever, especially the Imagination Blue, first track is so cool I could recommend it now and forever. You want this set for Melos and Imagination Blue, I guarantee it! I – Guarantee – it. Those two songs are officially the ones that define 80s Jpop from now on, at least for me!!
