Long live lossless! This is The Best of GRANDIA, in FLAC
Unfortunately I dont have the super-rare, complete OST, but the best-of album is pretty good too.

While everyone else were playing FF, I was playing Grandia. Seriously I don’t really get what’s the hype about FF, or its music (I’m going to get flamed until death for saying this I know :p). The Grandia series is so much better in every aspect. The antiheroes, the battle system, everything.

Sorry for the amateur file splitting, it was all I could manage. You’ll have to put the tracks back in the same folder after downloading.

:smrt: Enjoy the superior quality and the feeling of that you aren’t missing out on anything 😀

EDIT: Oh, and if you download, please post a thanks, it makes me feel useful 🙂

I’ve never listened to the Best of because… why listen to a selection of tracks when you have the full thing? But since it’s lossless, I’ll give it a go.

Also, I prefer the first 2 Grandia games over most if not all FFs, but the third was just plain cheesy (and thus, very FF-ish). Parallel Trippers was also OK, but that’s an entirely different game. Haven’t played any of the other spin-offs.

Well anyway, thanks for the rip/upload!

Is this only from the first Grandia Game or is this a Best of from all Grandia Games?

I can’t believe it…

BenWyldeZX: It’s music from only the first Grandia game.

ShinAtomos: What can’t you believe…? 😀

Too bad… ’cause i like the Grandia II’s music more than the music of the first game. Well, i should play both games again :3 but Grandia 2 doesn’t work on my XP PC… err… back to topic :3

Back off-topic, it works fine on my 2 XP PCs. Must be your graphics card then. I’ve tried it on XP Home, XP Pro, and 4 different graphics cards. Worked fine every time, and I never encountered the "ZAP glitch".

BenWyldeZX and SoulSlayer, buy a vg console instead… (assuming you’ve got a huge amount of money stored somewhere :D) It’s so much easier. No incompatible software or need to upgrade graphics cards… :D:D:D

Seriously, back to topic now.

Just had to say, PS2 games make for over a quarter of my total games collection (which is about 220 games) and I only have about 40 PC games.

Also, to be on-topic, YOU ROCK! Thanks for this. I said it before, but I had to say it again. Awesome stuff. Grandia rocks. Lossless rocks. You rock! (^_^)b

Grandia did an higher update into what is a RPG game. I do get that some FF games are nothing compared to Grandia, but in personal taste I did like some of the FF games. IAbout the music; I think it’s just ways of composing. Iwadare is much more emotional and serious when composing, instead of Uematsu that composes almost like he is headbanging at the same time. I feel that with a lot of his written music. Not saying I don’t like him though. It’s just different ways of composing bring us different images.

Please reupload.

I can’t offer flac, but mp3 might serve you if you want.
