I can’t find a thread on this already but I hope at least someone else has played it. If you have a Gamecube and haven’t played it you need to get your luscious booty down to a shop and buy it !

Although I don’t think it’s hit the UK yet ;_; I played it when I was visiting America where it seemed to be a newish release.

Anyway, I digress.

It’s such a great game. At first I found the battle system a little clumsy but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty fun. I also found the story worryingly like FFX at first, up until the plot took a bit of a U-turn and ended up being very enjoyable and only having one slightly absurd plot twist.

Unfortunately I had to rush to finish the game before I went home so I didn’t get to do many sidequests or New Game+ but I’ve read the manual and it looks like the sidequests are pretty fun. Getting new costumes and all the recipes/techs/titles.

Yep.

P.S.
Sheena is a hawtie and there’s a girl working in Taco Bell in Tucson who is her body double.

Been waiting for an opportunity to rent this… haven’t had the money to buy it, and not sure if I want to, considering I haven’t bought a game for more than 20$ since… well since Final Fantasy 9 I believe.

There was a thread about it in the RPG forums, but I think that it might have gotten buried.

At any rate, Tales of Symphonia is easily the best game I’ve played all year. The battle system is so much fun, and so addictive, and the storyline is pretty good as well.

Yes, easily one of my favorite games ever, and the most enjoyable as well. At first, the storyline is a lot similar to FFX, but there are a lot more twists and turns that your characters take in this game. The battle system is incredibly addictive, and to my surprise, I was never bored when I entered the battle. They were just that fun! The game also has a high replay value, since you earn a lot of bonuses once you are finished.

Tales of Symphonia=Game of the Year between the three major consoles.

Yeah, its a pretty nice story and the battle system truely is addictive. Its one of those RPGs that you actually enjoy to level up.

Sooner or later I’m planning on playing the earlier "Tales Of" games on the PS, but as of now I’m not really playing RPGs. My brothers are thoroughly enjoying Tales of Symphonia, however.

I am slightly tired of hearing the things the guys shout over and over again. =\
