Just wondering what your favourite Final Fantasy FMV sequence was..?

Mine is definitely FFX-2’s "1000 words"

I saw that and cried…god bless it’s story…

hmm…that’s a toughie…

…I thought FFVIII had some of the best FMV sequences in the series…and if I had to pick just one, I’d say the Lunar Cry FMV

…actually on second thought I’d have to say "Skirmish of the Silver Dragons" from FFIX

Mine’s either the FFX Ending, Dollet Landing or Skirmish of the Silver Dragons.

I definitely say 1000 words american version. IT RULES!

My favorite would probably have to be Tidus and Yuna in Macalania Lake.

Oh wow. There’s loads of them I love.

Ones that come to mind are the black mage massacre from FFIX, the wedding scene from FFX, and Yuna’s dream at the end of Chapter One of X-2.

Some of my favorites include FF7’s Motorcycle Intro FMV, FF8’s Dollet Landing and The Ending, and FF9’s Black Waltz 3’s scheme and the Bahamut vs. Alexander FMV. For FFX, I love the FMV when the first ferry ride is attacked and from FFX-2, I like the 1000 Words.

I can’t decided an overall favorite, but I can decide my fav.s from each FF. 🙂

Oh my god how the hell can I answer that. I love them all. "1000 Words" is definately one of the best but I also liked the FFX FMVs. Yes all of them. But I really liked the sequence of FMVs and cutscenes between defeating Evrae and the Bevelle cloister of trials.

Sen no kotoba (1000 Words JPN).

Koda Kumi is a much better singer than the American version’s cover artist… I enjoyed it more because of this reason. 😉

Ooo~ *ponders* Ermm…

FF7: The Kalm flashback in Nibelheim when Sephiroth went insane, the famous death scene, the Northern Crater when Cloud gives Sephiroth the Black Materia.

FF8: The part when Squall is on the vessel on his way to Dollet for his exam.

FFX: The Kilika Dance (sending), the Spring (Tidus & Yuna), the ending of course.

FFX-2: 1000 Words (Thunder Plains) and Yuna’s Dream so far (I have yet to comlpete this).

i would say 1000 words love the graphics but i like the dollet landing and leaving fmv with that spider nmachine it was cool

Yeah, I like that one too.

I think it’s a bit unfair to the earlier games because the FMVs are shit becuase the technology was well, shit. And I don’t really have much love for FFX-2 but impossible the love story of them both dieing and Yuna having to relive it was good. So it is 1000 words

VII: Motor Cycle, Death scene, North Crater Wepons, Ending

VIII: haven’t played

IX: Too many to choose from but, Black Mage massacre, Iifa Tree Bahamut, Alexander vs Bahamut, Neo Kuja, Skimerish of Silver Dragons, Ending(so sad).

X: Zanarkand( blitz ball), Sunset, the Sending, Face off, Ending

still more to add.

I don’t feel like posting a long list, so I’ll just point out a simple one that could easily get overlooked that I really liked: the FMV in the Cloud flashback sequence in FFVII where it takes you into Tifa’s house.

Motorbike escape on final fantasy VII and the Final fantasy VIII ending rock.

I have quite alot but one favorite is the one where the chocobo knights charge into the sea to battle in FFX

I like the scene on FFVII when Seperoth killed Aeris. I don’t know why, I just do.

I also like that scene, not because Aeris dies, but, because when i first ever saw it, it was such a shock. One minute Aeris was there, then the next, she was gone.

Its also ace the way Sephiroth comes from the sky with his sword pointing downwards 😉

I have already been yelled at for saying this but I have to say it again. In all honesty I laughed when Aerith was killed I still really don’t know why I laughed but I guess it because there was so little emotion shown after her death. I mean reading emotion is not the same as hearing it.
