I’m looking for this too, if its not up by mid next week i’ll try and rip the music off the sound test myself and post it here

Been more than a week now. Any progress?

The list is far from complete, though, and downloads seem to be capped to about 5-10k/sec where I am.

A PSF2 rip of OGS is also being conducted by this guy:

The rip had to be scrapped and started again, however–apparently due to track titles being misnamed. Date of the second attempt is unknown.

No other news so far.

To summarize: There is no known complete rip of the OGS soundtrack in the wild.

well, the main problem is that i need to find and "unlock" every song in the game, which i’m far from doing, i have some songs done but as you said, no known rip has been done cause to be blunt, to get every song you basically have to play all 5 story routes

– Seven new tracks were added to that first forum post on the 14th.

– The PSF2 rip seems to be complete. Tracks still need to be timed and tagged, though.

The stuff on there is 48K VBR to save bandwidth…Pretty icky quality. It’s probably better to wait until next week for the PSF2 rip.

I believe the guy said he’s going to try to find "BE A PERFECT" before the rip goes out; in the event that he can’t, he’ll leave a note in the README. (If it isn’t in the rip after all, there’s still a 320K CBR version of it on allgames: http://allgames.gamesh.com/srw/down/lolizt.mp3 )

Okay, good news is that the OGS PSF2 rip is out now and can be gotten from either of these sources:

Bad news is that the conversion appears to have incorrect instrument volumes and the samples are full of fuzz. Not sure if it’s my plugin or what, but I have a different rip of Shinchuu no Magokoro (Latooni’s new theme, Track 40) which plays at full quality and with proper volumes–so I’m definitely not sure what’s up there. Probably the nature of the rip.

If anyone else is getting these problems, it might be better to go into the game and record directly like the allgames people are doing? (At least until September, anyway…)

The song is called "Rocks." Insofar as I know the track is digital (obviously not synth) and hasn’t yet been ripped. It’s pretty short, anyhow–much like the version of "GO!" on SRW Impact’s title screen. (OGS is by the same team that did Impact, so i guess it makes sense.)

The single of the complete theme will be released August 8th in Japan, and it sounds amazing. At a minimum it’s going to rank right up there with "GONG," "SKILL," and "Break Out."

Further update. Masaki just put out a digital version of the soundtrack, it seems:

The two versions are only 98K VBR and 192K CBR, however (and in WMA9, no less…Ugh). "Rocks (Game Version)" is in there, however. My guess at this stage is that they’re digital recordings of the PSFs, so don’t get your hopes up for proper instrument volumes and all that. I’ll know more once I know what’s in there.

i dunno y but for some reason, "Platinum Lucifer" (excellen’s theme) just sounds so beast for some reason. everytime i hear it, i just feel like getting a pair of sticks an drumming along with it

The provided links does seem to work for me. Is it possible for some one with time to afford to post the soundtrack on rapidshare,mediafire,etc. Please.
