Composer Jonathan Goldsmith takes listeners on a sonic voyage with his score for Such a Long Journey. The film is based on the award-winning novel by Rohinton Mistry and was shot on location in Bombay. The score reflects this musically, conjuring the spirit of deepest India. Traditional Indian instruments and modern composition combine for a transporting sonic adventure that evokes the film while holding up on its own merits. ~ Heather Phares
