The vinyls could be the golden version if they take the media into consideration. Damn it, now with those new cool reprints i’m even considering gettint an entire analog chain, hehe.

Interesting, I did read about that "Loudness war" but was never able to compare it between multiple albums before. I will test on that one (I have "in-ear-headphones" that give a very high-end detail and clarity sound).

Well actually this album sounds a bit more "clear" than the original ost. About that, it’s a matter of taste.
If you open a file in Audacity though, and compare the waveform to the original files, you’ll notice it has lost its dynamics.
Volume is boosted to the max all the time.
