Street Fighter II Arcade Arranged Soundtracks

Hey guys,

I’m currently on the hunt for the arcade or arranged soundtracks from the Street Fighter II arcade games. By that I mean from the following:

Street Fighter II The World Warrior
Street Fighter II Championship Edition
Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting
Super Street Fighter II
Super Street FIghter II Turbo (Grand Master Challenge)

I’m looking for the arranged and arcade mixes (CPS-1, CPS-2, etc) for all the soundtracks to these specific SFII games. Does anyone have them? Please let me know. Thank you!

I guess no one has them. Oh well. At least I tried!

I believe that only three of those games received an official soundtrack release and two of those were extremely limited. I know that there is a Hyper Fighting Anniversary Edition rip floating around on this forum, which has both an original and remixed soundtrack. Street Fighter II has plenty of arranged albums like the Image Album, the Tribute Album, and the instrumental version of a vocal album I can’t remember the name of at the moment, the Starting Over Remixes album, and the Complete File. I know some of those were available at Galbadia Hotel at one point, but I’m not sure the links are still working.

On a side note, did the Champion Edition have a modified soundtrack?

The albums that you spoke of – I looked into them and they aren’t exactly what I was hoping for. If anything, I just want the music that I heard from any of the SFII arcade games (CPS1, CPS2, arranged, original, anything). If you can, however, find that rip that you talked about, the Hyper Fighting Anniversary one, please post that link here so that I can find it. 🙂 Thanks for your help though!

And I’m not sure about the CE having a modified soundtrack – more or less the same, in my opinion.
