You can listen the entire album apparently from this website right now :

http://store.ffdistantworlds.com/

Some songs are absolutely great, check it out for the fans of Uematsu 🙂

PS: Dancing Mad there is just pure win in this album.

At first look – WOW! Three NEW arranges! Crazy xD. First part of Dancing Mad is nice, but second is rather bad. And it’s not even an arrange, they didn’t change a thing from the original. Meh. Expected much more. But Jenova sounds pretty cool (although the trumpet solo in the middle is a bit to agressive imho). Will listen to the whole thing later, maybe something will actually surprise me:). Thanks for the link.

A FLAC download option for $9.99 is great. I wish more companies would do that.

Nice!
Someone can rip and upload the album?

^ On it.

update – all downloaded. Now I need to convert them to mp3, add some meta data, then upload. Give me a few hours, and you’ll have it to keep 🙂

Will the rip include the PDF? Don’t care if it doesn’t, but I wouldn’t mind.

No. You only get that if you pay to download the good version :p

Oh well. Is it in 320?

Oh dear goodness. Quit asking for miracles. If you want the good versions PAY FOR IT. The stream version is 128kbps. No one can give you better than that for free.

…..well, unless they pay for it too….

I will probably just wait for the CD release. Once that is sent out, you guys can expect a good VBR V-0 upload. 🙂

Ok now I have a dilemma.

I listened to the streaming version. And even the 128K steam put this album solidly into "to buy" territory. The only question now is paid download, or wait a month for a CD I can rip at my leisure.

Sorry ’bout that, just didn’t know anything about the upload. Thanks, by the way. I think I might buy it if I have the money.

Thanks! And sorry if I sound naggy, but I’m curious, will it include the pdf?

FYI for those of you who usually buy CDs: The FLAC download is actually a higher quality version at 88.2 kHz, 24-bit.

Can someone unpload the PDF, I heard it has the lyrics of Dancing Mad on them…I WANT TO KNOW THE LYRICS!!!! lol

I mean, come on, FFVII fans get to sing their anthem, "SEPHIROTH". They can just google the lyrics if they don’t know the lyrics..but FFVI fans…haven’t been able to sing along with the ultimate predecessor of One-Winged Angel. Hopefully…everything changes now…

Yeah, I’d really like to see the lyrics for Dancing Mad. ^.=.^

This is the reaction on square enix music online review as well. I guess if you really listened to the other Final Fantasy orchestral performances heavily this might be a huge factor. Personally I never listened so much to the other versions that I notice whether they have a new arrange or not. I do really love the vocals in Melodies of Life and Suteki Da Ne even though they are heavy on the pop style. Some great stuff here.

I just bought it, haven’t listened to it yet, but I can tell you there are no lyrics for "Dancing Mad" printed in the PDF.

Anywhere?

I’d love to hear that too!
