Still Learning

Time is playing tricks on me
I thought I was younger than this
Through all those years of my past
There is something I must have missed

Because I remember running
Though fields without a care
And time when I was too young
To be blinded by truth�s glare

But now I am much older
Though I don�t know when that occurred
The notion that I may be growing up
Is just utterly absurd

To think I have made it this far
Without a clue of who I am
And with no more self-knowledge
Then when my life began

Is a notion that has troubled me
In many of my lonely days
Causing me to question life
In many different way

I know not where I am going
Or what direction I wish to take
Or when I stake my claim in history
What marks I wish to make

All I know is I am still growing
Just like all others who live
And all I can do is experience life
And to receive all it has too give
