Hi, I’m looking for the battle theme that’s used in this particular episode of Star Trek, It’s been spoofed a hundred times before in many TV shows and movies such as The Cable Guy.
The song is by Gerald Fried and the song is called The Ritual / Ancient Battle / 2nd Kroykah on the Amok Time soundtrack (http://www.startreksoundtracks.com/sts-tos2-doomsday.html).

Don’t need to search. Every self-respecting Trekkie has that in their music collection.
It has indeed been used in may spoofs; My favourite was when Jim Carry "sang" it in Cable Guy and fought Matt Broderick with the Vulcan lirpa.
