According to Gamespot:
Square Enix site hacked – News at GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6347591.html)
Supposedly the sites will beback up in a few days.
Not good with FFXIII-2 due to be out in NA in a month or so.

I personally find that to be hilarious. I have a lot of negative feelings towards SE, due to how they screwed over long time players of FFXI (YES I’M STILL LIVID… even though they FINALLY are rectifying their fuckup). Personally, I think FFXIII is a curse, which will bring about the end of FF. Well… XIII AND XIV.

Personally:i am not too worried since i don’t buy their products much anymore.
I would have been more worried if i had been playing square enix MMORPGS,but i’m not.

Actually, it was only SE’s website which was hacked. PlayOnline (FFXI) and XIV’s own site, which are the only MMORPG’s SE has active currently at this time, weren’t affected at all.

If its just the site they use for advertisement than it really doesnt matter…

It wasn’t. It was SE’s main website which was hacked.

I don’t see how this would affect FFXIII-2, considering the ones who deal with the website and the ones who deal with the game making aren’t the same people. Only thing they have in common is the company they work for.
