I’ve been thinking about getting into the Spyro games. I remember watching my cousin’s friends playing the original Spyro the Dragon (and then it froze, lol) and I was curious if the game was good or not. I’ve done some research and I found out that the original Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon are on the Playstation Store to download for the PS3/PSP.
I don’t have a PS3, but I do have a PSP and I have the PS2. But I wonder, should I download these games off the Playstation Store to my PSP, or should I buy the original CDs and play them on my PS2?

Whichever is cheaper?

You can’t go wrong with the first Spyro. 1 & 2 are the best, 3 is okay, and it seems to go majorly downhill from there. That’s my opinion, anyway.

Buy a PS3 and put Spyro on it and on your PSP as well.

Lies! The PS2 ones are amazing as well, except maybe the eternal night.
