I’m sorry in advance. I’m sure it’s a fine book, but I seriously think he’s an opportunistic creep. What other guy would ban videotaping of a panel just because he’s going to read book passages. Doesn’t he know that letting people record these PROMOTES his stuff.
What did it for me was when he said he mainly wanted to be back on Eva 1.0 because "I want the money." It’s a small wonder he doesn’t do too much anime anymore since anime doesn’t pay. I think he has a bit of talent, but he’s really untoward to his fans and completely full of himself. Just my opinion.
