Spider-Man 3 (2007) Film Edit

Ever since "Spider-Man 3" was released eight years ago, I’ve tried to get as much of its music as possible. Unfortunately, over those same years the versions of the score posted online (and that I’ve subsequently downloaded) have become so convoluted that even I don’t know what version of the score I have anymore.

So. I’d like to ask if someone has the "Spider-Man 3" score as it’s heard in the film, or at least as much of it as possible. I’d like to start fresh with the score, so that I’m no longer confused about what I have.

Someone will need to do a full analysis, cause Scorepranos leaked a sessions set, but I believe a lot of music was tracked from Spider-man 1 by Elfman.

I can’t imagine how daunting of a task it would be, putting together a film edit of Spider-Man 3. Hell, even my Angels & Demons and Oblivion edits were a struggle….

What if we worked on it collaboratively? Between the various versions that exist, I’m sure we could piece it together piece by piece. If we use the film’s score itself as a baseline, we can make a version that’s as close to a film edit as possible. It would require a full analysis, as mentioned earlier, but that’s easy enough to do if we break it down by scene, for example, and listen to the music in the background. It’ll be tough, but it’s been eight years now and I think this is long overdue.

Some of the tracks in the sessions contain some film edits. But other tracks would be difficult.

These movies look so bad. Never seen them, really not that interested to. What’s the music like? I’m not a huge fan of Elfman, but I’ve never heard any Young. Any recommended cues?

Something tells me that 4Shared link was just a link to the OST. Seems unlikely that a random guy would just share this very-hard-to-achieve film mix out of the blue.

Sulley – yeah, they’re a little cheesy, bad Spider-Man 3 is one of my favorite films (seriously!!)

What I like about ’em is that they’re actually like the older comic books – not wholly realistic, sort of campy, yet strangely entertaining and just fun.

Well….that’s a matter of opinion. And Spider-Man (at least Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man) isn’t part of the MCU. So you have Spider-Man, Blade, Ghost Rider, F4, X-Men, Punisher and probably some others that I’m forgetting. Then you have the MCU: Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy – basically everyone in The Avengers :p

But Elfman’s Spider-Man theme is very good. You should give the main titles a listen and also 6m05 Farewell from the first film.
