Just some stuff I haven’t finished yet, some stuff that’s been speed painted, and some other stuff that I doubt will be finished. Criticism welcome.

This one I doubt I’ll finish. I’ve been working overtime on the armor, and I can’t get it to look right. Maybe after some practice I’ll get a feel for it, but the real problem starts with the sweater. I just can’t get a feel for ribbed clothing. Right now, in PS it’s around 50 layers, and well, I dropped it for about half a year and I doubt I can just pick it up like that and finish it. Half the face still has some problems anatomically that need to be figured out light wise as well.

Was coloring this one for fun, but I can’t get a feel for the armor. I need to get better at the whole shading thing and this was really to get a better handle on using a tablet in paint-tool sai. So far this one may be picked back up again. I like the way the hair and face looks, so it’s got a good bit of luck riding on it, but as far as the armor goes, I’ll have to figure something out.

This is Inuart from Drakengard. (Drag-on Dragoon) This is probably one of the nearly complete drawings that I have done recently that I’m actually somewhat proud of. The nose is a little messed up, and I’ve been using this to get a better handle on dark faces, backgrounds, eyes, and perspectives. It’s one of my favorites because I’ve been wanting to draw the character for some time, and I really do love the game.

This is Lloyd from The Legend of Dragoon, and this is another of my ‘finished’ drawings, because I doubt I will be making any modifications to it. It was done in an hour in paint tool sai. The arm is a little off in color and in shape, as is the neck. The necklace is a little too long around the neck and doesn’t look like a necklace. The hair is a bit… awkward to say at the very least but I’m pleased with the contrast of yellow tones.

Anyway, these are a few of my drawings. I’ve got a bit more, but they’re all over a year old. They can be seen at Http://dedes72.deviantart.com where I stockpile all my stuff.
