Hello. I have been thinking if there’s a way you can mute the voice-over in Silent Hill 2 for PC platform? Because that way, I could record the background music playing during the cutscenes without it being interferred by the dialogues.
Could be really exciting.

well usually the tracks and the dialogue are 2 different files or one track with two subtracts. It’s a matter of knowing what tracks they are, which is why you’d need a software, or programming experience.

I don’t think that just removing them would do much good. It would probably give you a very nice error screen.

Why do it the hard way if you can simply download all the SH 2 music from the net. As I recal, you can find SH2 OST in GH.

Yeah, I think I saw on a site the thing what you wanted, the music without the speaking. Google around, you surely gona find it.
